How does PhotoMagic AI work?
PhotoMagic AI uses advanced machine learning algorithms to enhance, edit, and transform your photos automatically. Simply upload your image, select the desired effect or enhancement (like Colorize, Upscale, or Replace Background), and let our AI do the hard work in seconds.
What features does PhotoMagic AI offer?
We offer 8 powerful AI tools: 1) Colorize Photo (add vibrancy to B&W photos), 2) Restore Image (fix blurry/damaged photos), 3) Upscale & Sharpen (increase resolution and clarity), 4) Replace Background (swap environments using text prompts), 5) Relight Image (fix lighting and shadows), 6) Expand Borders (uncrop edges), 7) Age Progression / Time Machine (see different ages), and 8) Artistic Styles (transform photos into art).
How do I use the 'Replace Background' feature?
After uploading an image, click 'Replace Background'. This works best for photos with a clear subject (like a person or pet). You can choose from presets like 'Spring Garden', 'Tropical Beach', 'Mystical Forest', 'Space Station', or 'Cyberpunk', or you can type your own custom text prompt (e.g., 'a neon cyberpunk street') to generate a completely unique background!
What are the different 'Artistic Styles' available?
You can transform any photo into 6 beautiful unique art styles: Watercolor, 3D Pixar, Oil Painting, Pencil Sketch, Pop Art, and Anime Style. Just click 'Artistic Styles' after uploading your photo to access these choices.
How does the 'Time Machine' (Age Progression) work?
The Time Machine feature uses AI to simulate how a person in your photo would look at different ages. You can choose any decade from 'Teen', '20s', '30s', '40s', '50s', '60s', '70s', '80s', or even '90s' to see an incredibly realistic transformation.
Can I undo a change if I don't like it?
Yes! If you apply an AI effect and aren't satisfied, you can simply click the 'Undo Last Edit' button below your result to revert back to the previous state of your image. You also have a 'Start Over' button to clear everything and upload a new photo.
How do I download my edited photo?
Once the AI finishes processing, a 'Download High-Res' button will appear below the image. Click it to save the enhanced, full-resolution JPG image directly to your device.
What if my old black and white photo is scratched and blurry?
We recommend a two-step approach! First, use 'Restore Image' to repair the scratches and sharpen the blurry faces. Then, once the image looks clean, use 'Colorize Photo' on that repaired image to bring it to life with vibrant, historically accurate colors.
What are credits and how do they work?
Credits are our digital currency used to process images. Each AI operation costs a certain number of credits. You start with free anonymous credits, and you can purchase more credits in bundles via our payment processor, Stripe.
What happens if I run out of credits?
If you run out of credits, you won't be able to process new images until you purchase more. You will be prompted to top up your account with one of our affordable credit bundles, such as our limited-time Double Credits Offer!
Do I need technical skills to use PhotoMagic AI?
Not at all! Our platform is designed to be intuitive and user-friendly. If you can upload a photo, you can use PhotoMagic AI. All the complex processing happens behind the scenes.
What file formats are supported?
We currently support most standard image formats including JPG, PNG, and WebP. The maximum file size for uploads is typically 10MB.
Is my payment information secure?
Yes, completely. We use Stripe, an industry-leading payment processor, to handle all transactions securely. We do not store your credit card information on our servers.
Are my processed photos kept private?
Your privacy is our priority. We process your photos securely. Please refer to our Privacy Policy for detailed information on how we handle and protect your data and the duration for which we retain images.
Can I use the images for commercial purposes?
Generally, any images processed with purchased credits are fully yours to use commercially. Free trial credits are meant for personal evaluation.
Why did my processing fail?
Processing can occasionally fail due to unsupported image formats, images that are too large, or temporary server issues. Please check your image format and size. If the problem persists, wait a few minutes and try again. Failed processes do not consume credits.
